Recommendation by Carri Coltrane
Vocal/Piano Coach and Professional Musician/Composer
To Whom It May Concern,
Kate Wisbey is a bright, outgoing, creative, and talented young woman. She becomes totally involved in everything she chooses to do. Kate has an open mind and is always willing to try new challenges.
As her piano teacher, I have worked with Kate for about 10 years. Piano lessons include studying classical composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Clementi, Scarlatti, Chopin and Bach, Hanon exercises, all scales and modes, and musical theory. She is also skillful at playing pop and jazz.
Ms. Wisbey’s natural ability as a singer has been a joy to discover and to nurture during our vocal lessons. She has agility, excellent pitch, good understanding of a lyric, wide vocal range and can handle multiple genres including classical and jazz. She excels at both piano and voice and has
been able to juggle the two without loosing her focus.
Kate is a self-motivated leader who shows integrity in her work. Through her expression she is able to communicate with people of all ages. During private instruction, Kate takes direction well and completes her work in a timely fashion.
In regards to Kate’s character, she is always willing to volunteer her services in schools and in the community. Her keen abilities help others in any group to rise and reach their highest goals.
I recommend Kate to any college, artistic venture, community project or job position.
Sincerely,
Carri Coltrane

Recommendation for Kate Wisbey by Priscilla French
Director of Portsmouth Pro Musica
It is my pleasure to recommend Kate Wisbey as a Music Together Teacher.
Kate is a very hard-working enterprising young woman
who has had a life dream of becoming a Music Together teacher.
I've known Kate as a member of Portsmouth Pro Musica, a non-profit
auditioned community chorus based in Portsmouth, NH. Kate is blessed
with a beautiful soprano voice. She has been a dedicated member of our soprano section for two years; during this season she has sung several solos. Kate is very musical, has good pitch and rhythm and could definitely use these talents in a classroom. She also has a bubbly enthusiastic personality which makes her very likeable to adults. Although I've never seen her in a classroom, I can imagine that she works easily with young children.
I know that Kate's family has struggled with some serious illness in the past two years. It is impressive to me that, as a young person, Kate has cared for her father during his liver transplant while working two jobs. This speaks to
her strong work ethic and sense of caring and commitment to others.
I have no doubt that she will be totally committed to her Montessori
certification training and her music teaching!
Sincerely,
Priscilla French, Director
Portsmouth Pro Musica
